Lets be honest- Most horror movies don't scare us. But what are some scenes or moments in a horror or slasher movie that if you think about for a bit- kinda creeps you out?

The original Dawn of the Dead loses some of its creepiness due to the comic book like blood coloring and zombie make-up mostly. Although I do like the movie. More so than the remake. Much more to say, and better handled story-wise. As far as this topic goes though I'd say when Peter has to shoot the zombie kids isn't necessarily creepy or scary, more so sad, but just thinking about it more and more it is very creepy that life has gotten so bad you have to make a soul damning decision like that. That life would put you in that situation and have no qualms about it 'cause that's life. Sends shivers down my spine.
As Freddy Krueger became more of a joke of himself with more and more one-liners, he became less creepy. Although, when thinking about it, a serial dream killer who's spouting off dad jokes while killing you is pretty darn creepy, if I may say so myself. Quite sadistic actually. Power glove and all.
