3 from Hell is an upcoming American horror film written and directed by Rob Zombie. It is a follow-up to his 2003 film House of 1000 Corpses and its 2005 sequel The Devil's Rejects.

I'm so fucking excited for this but beyond the cast announcements (finished as far as I'm aware) and MAYBE the first trailer, I'm ignoring all news for this. It's a follow-up to my favorite film of all time. There's no way I want anything spoiled.

I'm always excited for anything Rob Zombie puts out. Although, I still have yet to see The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, but I'm not in any rush. Clearly. Anyway, I too can't wait for this movie. Between House and Rejects I still may prefer House, but Rejects is definitely Zombie's better film. It's taken repeat viewings, but the movie has grown on me. Regardless, I can't wait to see this third entry in the Firefly saga.

I wonder how this is gonna turn out given how The Devil's Rejects ended. (A prequel, possibly?) Rob Zombie's been pretty hit-or-miss as a filmmaker for me, but his movies are usually pretty interesting and unlike most horror movies today.

My only worry is that it's going to erase the totally perfect ending of TDR. That film ended strong and I'd hate to see that reduced to "just a dream" or something. I'm kind of hoping it's a film that takes place between HO1C and TDR but that doesn't seem likely.

That's what I was afraid of, too. Despite my hopes, a prequel seems unlikely given how much older the cast is now.

This is just a redux of Devil's Rejects with hints of House of 1000 Corpses. Just not up to snuff to those flicks though.
I was hoping the whole movie was going to have a documentary like feel to it like it was at the beginning of the movie. You know, the way in which Quentin Tarantino originally envisioned Natural Born Killers. The way most serial killer documentaries were in the past. Would have fit right in today's onslaught of serial killer programs too. Oh, well.
I hope Rob Zombie's next movie is better.
