Dread. Very good sense of dread used through most of this pretty okay, horror movie. Harper is the only character we really have any true sympathy for, as well as any true, genuine backstory. Maybe a bit with Bailey, but most of the other characters, including Bailey, and ideas aren't explored enough though, which makes this horror effort less than satisfying for me. The villains in this are effectively terrifying, but I assumed they would be even harder to deal with by the end of it all. Not so, I guess. That ending doesn't work so well too, in my opinion. Just like a last minute idea. But the overall sense of dread is greatly used throughout.
