What are some characters/types you never or hardly see show up in a horror movie that you wish did more often? For example, a little person in a lead role who isn't made up to be a leprechaun or any other similar like creature. Think Vincent in Bordello of Blood, or, even better, some of the cast in Tod Browning's Freaks. List other characters/types you'd like to see more of that never or hardly get better representation in a horror movie.

More substantial, complex leading roles for those who are of different ethnicities (be they Black, Asian, Native American, or something else entirely), of different sexual orientations (something other than just Straight), of different religions (ones outside of Catholicism), of different gender roles (outside of just men and women), and those with a disability of some sort. Whether it be in a protagonist position or an antagonist one. With that, horror families that, for the most part, positively integrate these kind of differences into their home lives rather than make it a point of contention.
Heftier characters treated with decency and respect. While we're at it, more large bodied people as leads not made out to be just a punching bag of running gags.
More killers, whether they're human, superhuman, supernatural, or an invisible force, that have no real motive outside of just wanting to kill for the fun of it. The less that is known the scarier things actually are.
