In the total opposite of our thread of Films That Shouldn't Be Remade, which horror films would you like to see get made over with a remake or a reimagining?

Maximum Overdrive, for sure. Especially with how far we've come with technology. I'd still want to hear "Who Made Who" by AC/DC and see the Green Goblin truck, but they don't have to be the main drive of Maximum Overdrive. Pun intended.
Creature from the Black Lagoon, although The Shape of Water is a nice enough homage to tide us over.
Resident Evil (one that's less action and more horror; it'd be nice to have Tom Savini direct it in honor of George Romero originally being offered the directing job)
The Stuff, just because of how much more consumed by products we've gotten. Even more so than in the excessive '80s.

I would love for there to be a remake to The Burning, truth be told.
Pace it better. Edit it better. Spend more than, what was it three days? Three days on Cropsey's make-up.
Clean up the story to make more sense. Especially who Todd is in relation to the cold opening.
If I were writing it, I'd have Cropsey go after each kid, who are just a little bit older, and each of them are at different camps however many years I decide to set the story forward.
I could still include innocent people, like counselors, getting killed in the crosshairs. Especially if some were on a raft at one of the particular camps.
Muliple camp massacres in one movie? Sounds tight to me
