Rewatched this one last night on the big screen for the first time and . . . Wow. I remembered it was gruesome, but I forgot HOW gruesome the movie gets. Very, very unsettling. I love it. The characters are all great. So full of depth. So full of sadness. The editing is wonderful, and I love the dreamlike sequences. Very much in the vein of Jacob's Ladder. See this, but be warned. If you can't handle gross out moments, turn the movie off before it ends.
