1) Name a Horror Franchise Where the First Movie in the Series ISN'T the Best Entry
Friday the 13th (I would say 2 or 6 is)
2) Name an Example of Retconning that Made a Horror Series Better or Worse
While we're on the subject, the fact that Jason is actually alive in Friday the 13th Part 2 and not dead as we were led to believe in 1 made the series what it is today, for better or worse. I say better. Perhaps the best retconning ever.
3) Name a Point in a Horror Franchise Where the Franchise Should Have Ended
Day of the Dead should have been Romero's last Dead film. As much as I love that Shaun of the Dead reinvigorated Romero to pursue more Dead films, his original trilogy was enough. Although, Land being a one-off instead of being followed by Diary and Survival would suit me just as well.
4) List Your Top 3 Favorite and Least Favorite Horror Franchises
Top 3 Universal's Classic Frankenstein Movies A Nightmare on Elm Street The Evil Dead Bottom 3I want to say Paranormal Activity, even though I've only seen two movies, and as a second inclusion Sharknado, where I haven't seen any, but that wouldn't be exactly right of me. So . . .
I don't know exactly
5) Name Two Horror Franchises That Should Share a Movie Together That Haven't Already
Victor Crowley from Hatchet vs. Pumpkinhead
6) Name a Book, a Comic, a Fan Theory, or Something Else Entirely Based Off a Horror Series That Should Be Turned Into a Sequel
I haven't read it, but the Death of the Senses book as a Final Destination movie would be interesting based off the synopsis alone.
7) Name a Horror Movie That Doesn't Have Sequels or Spin-Offs That Should
Slither
8) List Two Underrated and Overated Characters from Any Horror Franchise
Underrated Father Karras (The Exorcist series; everyone usually always focus on Father Merrin or Regan) Amanda Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street series)
Overrated Ash, in a way (Evil Dead series) Randy (Scream series)
9) Name Your Favorite and Least Favorite Unofficial Franchise (i.e., something like Argento's Three Mothers Trilogy or Carpenter's Apocalypse Trilogy)
Favorite Carpenter's Apocalypse Trilogy
Least Favorite Not sure
10) Name Your Favorite and Least Favorite Horror TV Show (that has more than two or three seasons under its title)
Favorite The Twilight Zone
Least Favorite Anymore, I'm not a fan of The Walking Dead. Although, what little I've seen of Tales from the Darkside I always thought was too hokey, but I'm trying to give the show an actual chance. Hard to say really now that I think about it.
