Day 15: A great 80’s horror movie
Rather than answer with John Carpenter's The Thing...
The Blob remake or even Tenebrae

Day 17: Favorite horror franchise
Now, let me think about this one. I mean, I do love the A Nightmare on Elm Street series, but not 2, 5, 6, FvJ, and the remake so much. I haven't seen Freddy's Nightmares outside of the first episode, so . . .
The Friday series is okay, but not my favorite.
I love Halloween 1, 3, 4, and Zombie's sequel to his remake, but I feel that series is more my mother's series, to be honest.
With TCM I only really like 1 and 3. The remake IS decent though.
Alien is good, but not great.
Scream would be great if 3 wasn't so much of a dig at Hollywood and if 4 made different choices.
I might actually go with The Evil Dead series, in thinking about it. Yeah. My feelings about the remake have changed, and even though I was a little underwhelmed by the first season of Ash vs. Evil Dead, the second season brought the goods. I definitely need to see the third season.

Wow, I've been slacking.
- Day 1: Bruce the shark from Jaws.
- Day 2: Watching The Faculty with my dad and my brother on home video, and his reaction to the film's uncomfortable Aesop of "drugs will save you from the aliens".
- Day 3: The death of Franklin in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. I loved the use of sound in the buildup to that scene, and how you didn't know if the motor running was the generator or Leatherface's chainsaw.

Day 21: A horrible/lame twist
In thinking about it, I would probably have to comment on Scream 3's ending here. I mean, the movie overall is a mess, but I feel the reveal is what really kills it for me. It's not the worst twist in the world, but it is pretty lame, by my book. So, yeah.

Day 22: Best movie based on a book
Well, I mean, John Carpenter's The Thing is based off Joseph Campbell's Who Goes There?
But that's more of a short story than a novel. So...
Either Psycho ('60) or The Silence of the Lambs

Day 23: Scariest old person
Hmm...
Dr. Satan is pretty old. And just look at him:

Day 24: A movie you expected to be bad, but enjoyed
Creep 2, especially considering I wasn't a big fan of the first one. And I was surprised how much I enjoyed The Nun, to be honest.

Day 27: Favorite OR least favorite Stephen King movie
Favorite? Creepshow
Least favorite? Most likely The Langoliers. Although Children of the Corn is pretty bad too.
